TL;DR: ReasonKit runs locally by default. We don't
collect your queries or analysis results. We only collect anonymous
usage statistics if you opt in.
1. What We Collect
Local CLI Usage (Default):
- Your queries and analysis results stay on your machine
- We have no access to your data
- No telemetry by default
Optional Analytics (Opt-In):
- Anonymous usage statistics (which ThinkTools are used)
- Performance metrics (response times)
- Error reports (to improve the product)
2. Website Data
When you visit reasonkit.sh, we collect:
- Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited)
- Anonymous analytics via privacy-respecting tools
We do not use invasive tracking or sell data to third parties.
3. LLM Provider Data
When using ReasonKit with LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.), your queries are sent to those providers. Please review their respective privacy policies:
- OpenAI: openai.com/privacy
- Anthropic: anthropic.com/privacy
- Local models: No external data transmission
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures. All communications with our servers use TLS encryption. We do not store sensitive data.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access any data we have about you
- Request deletion of your data
- Opt out of analytics
- Export your data
